Custom Glassware buying guide
Wine Glasses
Stemless wine glasses are the most ordered glass because they are stable, stackable and suit red and white. Stemmed glasses in 12 to 20 oz suit restaurants and formal gifts. Plastic-free, lead-free crystal glasses from Spiegelau and similar makers are for a premium set. Stemless glasses print a logo on the side, and stemmed glasses are usually etched on the bowl.
Beer Glasses
The 16 oz pint and mixing glass is the standard taproom glass and prints a one-color logo on the front. Pilsner and tulip glasses suit craft breweries. Beer mugs and steins with a handle are the gift version. Tasting glasses at 5 to 6 oz are for flights and festivals. Can-shaped glasses are the current retail favorite.
Whiskey, Shot and Specialty Glasses
Rocks and old-fashioned glasses at 10 to 12 oz etch beautifully and are the distillery and executive gift standard. Shot glasses are the inexpensive souvenir. Decanters and carafes suit a gift set with two or four glasses. Champagne flutes carry a wedding date or a company anniversary. Glass coffee mugs and mason jars with handles cover cafes and rustic events.
Etching or Printing
Deep etching sandblasts the logo into the glass for a frosted, permanent mark that looks like a retail product and suits fine lines. Screen printing in one or two colors is the economical method for pint glasses and stemless wine glasses and is dishwasher safe when fired. Full-color printing handles detailed artwork on many glasses. Gold and silver rims add a finish for gift sets. Glass is heavy and fragile to ship, so order in full cartons and allow a little longer for delivery than for other drinkware.

Is etching or printing better for glassware?
Etching is permanent, looks premium and suits gifts and bar glassware. Printing adds color and costs less, which suits large taproom and event orders. Both are dishwasher safe.
Can I get glasses for a wedding or an event?
Yes. Stemless wine glasses, champagne flutes and pint glasses are printed or etched with names, dates and a design, and many styles have low minimums for a single event.
Which brands of glassware do you carry?
Libbey, Spiegelau, Viski and Polar Camel are among the brands available, along with lead-free crystal glasses and decanters for gift sets.
Do you offer glassware gift sets?
Yes. Decanter and whiskey glass sets, wine glass pairs and flute sets ship in a gift box with the logo etched on each piece and are a standard executive and client gift.
