Spiral, Hardcover or Leather

Spiral and coil notebooks lie flat, cost the least and print a full-color cover, which makes them the right choice for conferences and classrooms. Hardcover journals with a rounded spine, an elastic closure and a ribbon marker feel like a bookstore product and are the usual corporate gift. Leather and leatherette journals with a debossed logo are the executive version and often come in a gift box with a pen.

Sizes and Paper

A5, about 5.8 by 8.3 inches, is the standard journal size and fits a bag. A6 pocket notebooks fit a jacket. Letter-size and B5 notebooks suit desks and students. Lined or ruled paper is the default, with dot grid, graph and blank pages available on many styles. Page counts run from 80 to 240, and heavier paper resists ink bleed on the back of the page.

Covers and Logo Methods

Paper, kraft and vinyl covers print full color. We print custom notebooks with a logo or with artwork across the whole cover. Hardcover journals in linen or soft-touch cloth take a one-color screen print, a foil stamp or a deboss. Leather and leatherette are debossed or foil stamped so the logo is pressed into the surface, which is the most durable and the most premium finish. Keep a debossed logo simple, since fine lines do not press well.

Useful Extras

A pen loop or a pen in the spine keeps the set together and is the most ordered add-on. Inside pockets hold cards and receipts.
